All in one building perfectly situated on the east side of Highway 97 on the north edge of town, Sutherland's has a gas station, Sutherland's Bakery, Sutherland's Pizza and Sutherland's Ice Cream. The ice cream shop, which was all we were interested in the last time through Enderby, has many more than the 24 flavors they advertise (reputed to be 63 flavors), some of which, like Leap'n Lizard, Blast Off and Red Velvet were new ones to us. For those who want more than just ice cream they offer soft ice cream, shakes, floats, sundaes, ice cream sandwiches and Twisters.

We partook of a total of four of the hard ice cream offerings whose flavors I no longer remember. They have Foothills Creamery ice cream, which is always great!

Next door, in the bakery, their apple fritters, maple bacon doughnuts and apple cinnamon rolls are reputed to be outstanding.
