To the families of the Seneca Nation, the Haudenosaunee, who first inhabited this region and lived quietly, leaving a heritage of spirituality, language, culture and trade.
A tribute to the birthplace of the Onondowahgah, "the people of the great hill" traced to one of the two hills on the southeastern shore of Canandaigua Lake.
