The Three Pines mysteries are popular series of novels written by Louise Penny. The setting is the fictional hamlet of Three Pines in the rural Eastern Townships of Quebec. Still Life is the only one of the novels yet to be filmed as a movie. The movie stars Nathaniel Parker as Chief Inspector Armand Gamache and Anthony Lemke as Inspector Jean Guy Beauvoir. Produced by CBC TV, the director was Peter Moss and screenplay by Wayne Gigsby.
