The Cabinet Mountains Wilderness area near Libby offers 94,272 acres of rugged, mountainous terrain in the Kootenai National Forest.

The Cabinet Mountains provide a scenic backdrop for Libby and the surrounding area in the mural. The abundance of wildlife that thrive in this natural setting is nicely illustrated in the mural. It was created by talented artist David Larimer on July 1, 2006.
