In Millis, off Acorn Street, is the Acorn Alpaca Ranch.
The ranch is located about a mile south of Mass Route 109. The entrance is on the right (west) side of the road. There is a driveway to a parking area at a barn. The proprietors started in other careers - a structural engineer and an EMT before retiring and starting the ranch. The ranch now has over 100 alpacas, and 3 guard llamas, according to the web site.
They do have a store, but they don't keep regular hours. Call ahead using the phone number on the web site. They also have an open house on the first weekend in December.
