"[front]
This monument serves as a humble reminder of a tornado that struck our county on April 9, 2009 forever changing our landscape. While this may serve as a reminder of how vulnerable we are to the forces of mother nature, may it also serve as a reminder of the strength of a community who arose together to rebuild in the face of tremendous tragedy and loss.
May we never forget:
3 precious lives lost
