At the central station of Amsterdam is a working clock mounted to the tower.

The watch has a red and blue display with golden hands and as time units the directions North, North-East, East, South-East, South, South-West, West, North-West are painted.

The station building as well as the tower was made of bricks and also has different mosaic ornaments.
