Laurel City Cemetery is in Yellowstone County, Montana. Laurel has a current population of 6,865 residents and is nestled in the Yellowstone Valley. Laurel is home to the annual "Running of the Bison" patterned after Spain's Running of the Bulls. Bison are the largest animal in North American, and several brave visitors tried to out run the bison, some without success.
Laurel City Cemetery is approximately 10 acres in size and is one of three in the area. It is very well maintained and most of the headstone are newer, more traditional with some that are flush. There are approximately 2,782 known interments with the oldest being:
