The dark brown brick Gothic-styled church has a brick crenellated Bell Tower at the entrance (southwest corner). It has several lovely stained glass windows. While there is a very weathered white sandstone foundation stone with indecipherable inscription of date on the outer base of the Bell Tower, there is a bronze plate inside that has this original St Alban's Church (Lindfield) was dedicated on 3rd July, 1904. It also lists the incumbent ministers of the church.
The inscription of the Foundation Stone appears to be the following:
THIS STONE
was laid by
The Hon. Mr. Justice [Kirby]
23rd Feb 1[899]
[With some interpretative assistance from their newest minister Rev Chrichton]
Inside it has vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams, with wooden pews for seating.
