The Eagle Eye Cemetery is just east of HWY 4 miles SSE of Aguila, Arizona. It is rumored to be the home of the 'last hung' man in Arizona. There are many marked grave sites; some sites marked by just stakes, and there are mounds with no obvious markers. The cemetery was established in the mid 1930's. Different documents indicate 150 identified grave sites, but make no allowance for the number of total residents including the 'mounds'. This is rumored to be the eternal home of 'the last hung man' in Arizona. It is a peaceful area at the foot of the mountain called Eagle Eye (for the hole in the top of the mountain that actually resembles an eage's eye.)
