The police department would be addressed 119 E. Main, although there is no address posted on the building. This is an older downtown building which has had a stone facing added in later years. The building is not embellished, having a single metal door and two small fixed windows.

Hinton is a town of about 3300 residents and is serviced by the Hinton Police Department which has five CLEET certified officers, and six reserve officers. There is 911 emergency service and the local phone number is posted on the door (405-542-3244).

This police department has a K-9 unit and a photo of a K-9 officer is posted on the website below. On the east side of the municipal building is a granite plaque honoring a former K-9 Officer, Blake, who died in 2011.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
