From here one can travel to the opposite bank of Mandovi river. Which means, crossing from a small village named Betim, to Panjim, capital town of Goa,.
It's a very simple landing spot, no more than a ramp. It's widely used during the day with departures every 15 minutes or so. The crossing seems to be for free but some times it's suspended due to technical issues with the single boat being operated.
The boat carries pedestrians and motorbikes.
