Bethel Acres is a small bedroom community with residents working primarily in the nearby towns of Shawnee, Tecumseh and Oklahoma City. The cemetery is located on the south side of Hardesty Road across from the Bethel UM Church, about 4.5 miles west of Highway 177.

This is a standard tree stump Woodmen of the World headstone, which has a slightly squared trunk. The engraving is excellently preserved and legible. Large crossed implements are engraved beneath the seal, and a dove is engraved on top of the scroll, which is inscribed:
