Sixth Street is the center of historic downtown Austin, Texas. The area is literally plastered with historical markers (see collage below, right).

After the facade of the Mooseknuckle Pub (picture above) was adorned with not one, but two markers, telling the world what happened in this building in 1870 and 1945, the owner decided to put up a marker of his own:
