This tree planting is made possible by the City of Denton's City Council through the Tree Mitigation Fund. Tree Mitigation plantings are a collaborative effort between the Planning and Parks & Recreation Departments using native or adaptive low water use species to increase Denton's tree canopy while beautifying and shading walking trails.
