Le 6 mars 1736, Urbain-François Le Bihan fut inhumé sous le nom d’Alexandre Kéloaque. Originaire de Huelgoat Bretagne, il est l’ancêtre de tous les Keroack, Kerouac et Kirouac d’Amérique du Nord. Issu d’une famille de notaires, il émigra en Nouvelle-France entre 1721 et 1726 et il s’adonna au commerce des fourrures.

En 1732, sous le nom de Maurice Louis Le Brice de Kervoach il épousait Louise Bernier de Cap-Saint-Ignace.

Sieur of Kervoac

On March 6, 1736, Urbain-François Le Bihan was buried under the name of Alexandre Kéloaque. Originally from Huelgoat Brittany, he is the ancestor of all Keroack, Kerouac and Kirouac from North America. Coming from a family of notaries, he emigrated to New France between 1721 and 1726 and he devoted himself to the fur trade.

In 1732, under the name of Maurice Louis Brice of Kervoach he married Louise Bernier of Cap-Saint-Ignace.
