The House of the Philippines is part of the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages, a complex of cottages built for the 1935 California Pacific International Exposition. The complex currently house 33 groups that "promote multicultural goodwill and understanding through educational and cultural programs".

The House of the Philippines is a place to learn about the history, culture and people of the Philippines.

Filipino authors, musicians, psychologists, and TV chefs give presentations, in monthly events.

Hands-on learning experience on Filipino crafts such as the Christmas parol (traditional Philippine lantern) and art and ancient alphabet classes, are given monthly.
