There would be a minimum of two pavers each metre of the brick-paved pathways either side of Market Street. They vary from being square ones of 30cm x 30cm, and even four square tiles grouped together, to specifically labelled bricks. While the Merimbula Bridge has concrete blocks for the pathway, either side of the bridge had the brick-pavers, so there must be quite a few hundred, as the walkway continued on the water-side up to the Cenotaph. Some of the patterns were repeated, but the donors weren't.
