St Leonard's is a Grade II* listed building that was started in the 12th century and developed in the 15th, 17th & 19th centuries. The font dates from the middle of the 19th century.

The font is hexagonal in shape at all levele, a wide bowl on a narrow pillar on a stepped base. The sides of the bowl have deeply cut roundels containing crosses.
