It may not be 'the usual' to have a Covered Wagon having split-log shingles for the covering, but that is what this wagon has. It has plenty of advertising for Miss Heidi's Austrian Teahouse, that is just down from the Mt Gladstone Lookout. It is open 7/days/week, from 10am to 5pm, with the options of evenings, if booked ahead. * Yes, AUSTRIAN, not Australian *
While the road-side part of the wagon is fully covered with advertising billboards, the 'back' is exposed, showing a large LPG cylinder, that I presume is used to light up the large, orange, hanging lamp. As it would look out-of-place to have solar panels on the slab roof, I guess the gas-lamp is the next best, so that they can advertise it as 'an ECO Place'. The wagon has two sizes of wooden, 14-spoked wheels, with the front set being about 90 cm in diameter, while the rear set is about 150 cm in diameter.
Miss Heidi's Austrian Teahouse is licensed, and with an outdoor terrace, can offer Wine, Beer, or Coffee, along with Austrian Apple Strudel, Austrian Pan Cakes, and other Austrian inspired Food for Lunch, Afternoon Tea, or Dinner. It has a large enough parking area so that it can welcome not just cars, but also caravans and trailers - tho coaches generally park at the Lookout.
