For a 'week' of camping in a large paddock about 1 km away from this Firehouse, I did see a few of their volunteers, as they wanted to patrol and make sure that there was minimal risk from having some 2,000+ youth aged 10 - 16 years, plus a thousand leaders in their area. For two days NO open fires were allowed, and on one day not even any 'contained gas stoves' could be used between 10am and 4pm! Our cooks did a marvellous job of feeding us at that time.

This is a zincalume shed, with a wide bi-panel-lift door to the front; that has an entry door inset to the lower half. There is a concreted apron to the front, and racks on the 'northern' side for the laying out and drying of used fire hoses.
