The BC Afghanistan Memorial was dedicated the Honourable Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, on September 30, 2017. The memorial honours the 163 Canadians who gave their lives in this 13-year conflict, as well as the over 40,000 who served there.
The memorial is in the official languages of Canada - French and English. On the base are the names of each of the soldiers who died in Canada's longest war.
