Saint Peter Cathedral is the Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese in Scranton, PA. The church was originally built in 1867, but has undergone renovations and restorations a number of times. The church was consecrated as the Cathedral of the Diocese in 1884. The church's interior is decorated with many beautiful stained glass windows and murals, including a reproduction of Raphael's "Transfiguration" in the sanctuary.
