Ce sentier est situé au port de Baie-Comeau. Un ferry traverse le fleuve Saint-Laurent jusqu'à Matane. Un trajet en bateau de 60 km. Les VTT et les motoneiges peuvent utiliser le traversier. Depuis le bateau, les véhicules tout-terrain et les motoneiges peuvent emprunter cette ancienne route menant à un sentier principal (TQ-3) situé à 3,5 km au nord.
Le sentier est un peu inconfortable pour les VTT mais il est bien entretenu en hiver par le club de motoneige local.
Le sentier traverse une route principale à Baie-Comeau et une route très fréquentée (la route 138) juste avant de rejoindre la TransQuébec 3. Toutes les traversées de chemin sont très bien marquées et la visibilité est bonne.
This trail is right at the port of Baie-Comeau.
A ferry crosses the St.Lawrence River to Matane. A 60kms ferry ride. ATV's and Snowmobiles can use the ferry. From the ferry the offroad vehicules can use this old road which leads to a main offroad trail (TQ-3) which is 3.5kms north.
The trail is a bit rough for ATV's but well maintained in the winter by the local Snowmobile Club.
The trail crosses a main road in Baie-Comeau and a busy highway (Route-138) just before joining the TransQuébec 3. All crossings are very well marked and visibility is good.
