The Schellenbrunnen stands on the main market square in Gotha. In the middle of the baroque fountain stands a stone figure of the winged Greek goddess Pheme, holding a trumpet. The base is with four putti, each holding a dolphin. These dolphins are water spouts.
According to the inscription, the fountain was built in 1723.
