Sentinel Peak is a mountain in Menlo Park, the largest natural-resource park in Tucson, Arizona. The summit is easily reached by car, where there is ample parking and several sites of interest such as historical markers. The mountain also bears a 160-foot-tall letter 'A' constructed by students of the University of Arizona in 1916. It has been painted various colors over the years but is at this writing (mid 2019) it is red and white.
