The cover was manufactured by the Buderuns company and shows the Thuringian coat of arms in the middle and has the inscription: Stiftung Thüringer Schlösser und Gärten (Thuringian Castles and Gardens Foundation).
The Foundation was established in 1994 with the mission of maintaining, restoring and making accessible to visitors the monuments entrusted to its care. The monuments belonging to the Foundation were selected on the basis of their significance for the history of the country and their dynastic connection to the former ruling princely houses and their residences. The Foundation currently looks after 31 of Thuringia's most important palaces, castles, parks and monasteries in terms of cultural history.
