Operating since 2009, Green Gable Alpacas is a destination. They offer tours and a wide range of fibre products. It's a labour of love for a mother-daughter duo and their small team of helpers.

Once city slickers, the duo moved to Prince Edward Island to start a new life. The vision for the 11 acre property has been fulfilled and looking at the business' website you can see that they use a sophisticated scientific breeding program to support their operations. Add in lots of love and hard work and you have a successful business!

Prince Edward Island's artisans and producers of fine fibres and yarns have organized a PEI Fibre Tour, which is a perfect way to be able to see and understand the extent to which the industry has evolved in the province. 22 farms are currently participating. The website is here: (visit link)
