Grand River Pioneer Cemetery
In Memory of the 29 Scottish families and their Descendants
who emigrated from the Hebrides Islands of Barra, Uist, and
Mull and established the Parish of St. Patrick's Grand River.
Scots with the surnames Gillies, MacLellan, MacKinnon, McIntyre,
MacDonald, McNeil, Cameron, and Brown arrived in Scotland
in 1790 on the Queen of Greenock and settled here in 1792.
