This metal Bull Letterbox, is made of various five gallon or 20 litre drums for the body, with smaller tins, or buckets being used for the head and jaw. Sundry sheet-metal is bent tightly for the four legs, which are each painted a different colour - even to the spot-welded-attached hooves. A couple of steel studs are added for the eyes. A bit of effort has been put in for the hollow and, not quite 'joined', curving horns. The ears are also sheet-metal, bent like a ladle, again painted in different colours.

A curved piece of steel rod is welded onto the upper jaw as a 'nose-ring', to give better grip when opening the mouth to put the mail in. And a piece of reinforcing steel is welded onto the flap at the backend, for retrieving the mail. It is mounted on a black-painted steel post.
