Quesnel is in the Cariboo Regional District in beautiful British Columbia. It has approximately 23,150 residents at the confluence of the Fraser and Quesnel Rivers.
The Gold Rush started with the discovery of gold on the Fraser River in 1857 and had reached the Quesnel River by 1859. Quesnel is home to the World's Largest Gold Pan. In July 2019 marked the 45th anniversary of Billy Barker Days. It is the longest running and largest free festival in British Columbia.
Quesnel Post Office is a large two story building and is constructed with tan brinks and stucco with windows on the front across both stories.
