Der kleine aber sehr feine Botanische Garten liegt in Agaete. Er wurde im 19. Jahrhundert von der Familie de Armas angelegt, die Samen von Ihren Reisen aus aller Welt mitbrachten. Seit 1975 ist die Stadt Agaete Eigentümmer des Kleinods. Der Garten beherbergt heute mehr als 105 verschiedene Pflanzenarten aus aller Welt.
Im Garten trafen sich auf Einladung von Don Francisco De Armas Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts auch viele bekannte kanarische Dichter, wie zum Beispiel Tomás Morales, Alonso Quesada, Saulo Toren.
Der Garten beherbergt mehr als 100 verschiedene exotische Pflanzenarten. Der Runweg durch den Garten ist beschildert. Zudem erhält mann am Eingang einen Plan auf dem alle Pflanzen und ihr Standorten im Garten beschrieben sind.

The small but very fine botanical garden is located in Agaete. It was created in the 19th century by the de Armas family, who brought seeds from their travels around the world. Since 1975, the city of Agaete is the owner of the garden. The garden now houses more than 105 different plant species from all over the world.
At the invitation of Don Francisco De Armas at the beginning of the 20th century, many well-known Canarian poets such as Tomás Morales, Alonso Quesada, Saulo Toren met in the garden.
