This lovely memorial is displayed in the Englewood Cemetery close to S Vansant Rd and 7 Hwy near the northwest corner of the cemetery.

The memorial consists of four stone benches two of which bear the American Legion Emblem and Post 14 and two the Veterans of Foreign Wars emblem and Post 1894. There is an amazing bronze eagle facing north on a central black stone pedestal with the word COURAGE engraved on the front (north side) of the pedestal. There is a large stone on the south side of the courtyard form by the benches that also faces north, it is engraved with the seal of the United States and the emblems the branches of the U.S. military: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy.
