The small Perthshire town of Comrie is situated on the southern edge of the Scottish Highlands by the River Earn. Its original cemetery was located in the grounds of the parish church, but when it became full a new cemetery was located in the parkland on the south-eastern edge of the town on the South Crieff Road.
The site is a long rectangular shape, orientated along the roadside in a north-west to south-east direction and surrounded by woodland.
The part nearest the town is full, with a newer section to the south-east. A section south-east of this has also been made available. A large lay-by runs the length of the roadside at the entrance.
