At the top station of the Piz de Plaies lift on the Col dl'Ancona there is this round wooden frame through which one has a fantastic view into the neighbouring valley of the Dolomites.
The wooden frame bears the following inscription: "It's a beautiful Journey - Piz de Plaies".
