The 82nd Airborne Division's "Golden Brigade" consists of those soldiers who served in Vietnam from the period February, 1968 until December, 1969.
The marker, located along McClellan Road in Section 33, was placed in honor of the 220 Soldiers who lost their lives while in service.
Marker text reads:
"Nothing is dearer than life
but nothing is more precious
than to live it in freedom"
Dedicated 11 November, 1993 by the
'Golden Brigade' Chapter to the
memory of every 82nd Airborne Division
soldier who made the supreme sacrifice
in the Republic of Vietnam.
February 1968 to December 1969
