The Artist:
"A resident of Dickson, TN, Sue has been painting watercolors for more than 30 years. She specializes in amusement parks, carnivals and fairs, but also paints local Americana scenes and some animal portraits.

"She is a native of South Williamsport, PA and graduate of Penn State University with a B.A. in Journalism. Since 1981, she has worked in the amusement industry, starting with National Ticket Company in the Washington, D.C. area. She then moved to Billboard Publications in Los Angeles. Currently, she reps for Amusement Today and several other companies in the amusement industry. She paints commissioned artwork and sells custom printed merchandise for the amusement industry and other clients via this website.

"In January 2007, Current Inc, licensed four of her amusement park and fair designs for their scrapbooking catalog. Her art also appeared in the Quentin Tarantino film “Deathproof””. Six of her rural TN and PA scenes are visible in a long café scene in the movie.

"In 2006 Chestnut ID Apparel licensed 34 of her paintings for fabric for a carnival camp shirt designed for amusement parks and carnivals as a uniform shirt. In 2014, Sue did three original paintings for a CD cover for Tony Huber's new release.

"Sue’s art is owned by many amusement parks, carnivals, and fairs including Knoebels, Kennywood and Idlewild Parks in PA, Wonderland Park in Texas, Ventura County Fair in California, and manufacturers such as Eli Bridge Company, makers of the Ferris wheel.

"Woodworkers in Murfreesboro, TN handcraft the oak items and print the artwork images on ceramic tiles used in the merchandise featured on the website. Most items are made in the U.S. Please contact Sue if you have any questions on current art and merchandise, and about commissioned artwork and custom items." ~ Five Cent Ride
