This is appears to be a new veterans memorial. This square area is surrounded by a low native rock wall with a wide opening in the southwest corner. In the rear of the memorial are the flags of the United States and the State of Utah, along with the flags of each of the Armed Services. A ceremonial arch, approximately 10 foot tall and wide, made of the same stone, is in front of the flags. Seven stelae, one listing those who served in the Air Force and Coast Guard; one for the Marines and Merchant Marines; one the Navy; three for the Army; and one that states:
"All Gave Some
Some Gave All
(seal of the United States)"
There is a listing of those Wayne County Residents KIA, MIA, and POW. There are no other plaques or explanations regarding this memorial.
This area appears that it might be used as a park in the future.
