The Longevity and Prosperity Temple is located near the famous Forbidden City. It's a small temple which seems to be closed most of the time. The visitor will notice a plate outside, text in Chine and English. It says there that the temple was part of Weapon Manufacturing Bureau in the Ming dinasty, having being renamed to its current designation in 1700. Later, it was used as a home for old eunuchs.
