This arch stands over the road from Pyongyang to Kaesong and it symbolizes the wish of reunification of the two Koreas.

The Arch of Reunification has a height of 30 m and it was inaugurated in August of 2001. Most of the tourists visiting the country will have access to this place, as the arch stands of the road leading to Kaesong, a town near the DMZ, which is the most visited spot in the country.
