A "You Are Here" map is mounted at the external southwest corner of the Skyline at Waterplace event venue on a rooftop terrace that overlooks the Woonasquatucket River basin of Waterplace Park and the skyline of downtown Providence, Rhode Island.

WATERPLACE PARK

Located on the site of the 1848 Cove Basin,
Waterplace is a four-acre urban park focussing on a
240 foot diameter basin. Joining it to the east is
Providence River Park with over one mile of river
walks and seven additional areas of parkland.

You are standing on the upper roof terrace of
The Waterplace Pavilion with paving stones indicating the Narragansett Bay and the State of
Rhode Island with its 39 cities and towns.

Waterplace is the crossroads of park and
waterfront Pedestrian Routes:

• North to State House Park bordered by the
  Veterans Memorial Auditorium, the State House,
  Capital Center and the Providence Railroad Station
• East along the river to Capital Center, Roger
  Williams Spring Park, Historic College Hill, Brown
  University and Rhode Island School of Design.
• South through the Waterplace Concourse
  to Historic Downtown Providence: Kennedy Plaza
  with its bus service, Providence City Hall, the
  Financial District and the Arts and Entertainment
  District.
• West to the Convention Center, the Civic Center,
  the Providence Public Library and Federal Hill.
