NRHP Registration Form"Four bays on the second floor, each containing a double-hung window with 1/1 lights, visually divide the facade into vertical sections. Segmental-arched, carved-stone hoodmolds crown the outer windows, while round-arched hoodmolds of similar materials top the inner windows. The extended parapet caps the facade and contains the building's most exuberant architectural detailing. The dominant feature is the 2-part entablature, which displays inset panels with floral reliefs along the frieze, large dentils, and a broad metal cornice. A large round archway spans the opening between the 2-part entablature and contains the name of the original owner (G.E. Dilley) and the date of construction (1882) in raised characters. Small brick obelisks rise from each comer of the parapet."
