EN: This large waterfall is located about halfway between Saas-Almagell and Mattmark on the western flank of the valley.

The Blattbach rushes over various steps from the glaciated plateau in the west to the Saas Valley, where it flows into the Saaser Vispa. The visible part has a height difference of 500-600 meters, the largest single step is probably 50 meters. There is no marked path from the valley bottom to the waterfalls. According to the map there is a mountain path that leads to the creek in the upper third; but this is definitely only recommended for experienced alpinists.

Der Blattbach stürzt über verschiedene Stufen von der vergletscherten Hochebene im Westen ins Saastal, wo er in der Saaser Vispa mündet. Der sichtbare Teil hat eine Höhendifferenz von 500-600 Metern, die grösste Einzestufe beträgt bestimmt 50 Meter. Vom Talgrund gibt es keinen markierten Weg zu den Wasserfällen. Laut Karte gibt es aber einen Bergweg, der im oberen Drittel zum Bach führt; dieser ist aber bestimmt nur geübten Alpinisten zu empfehlen.
