A zinc monument marks the final resting places of Preston Hopkins Leslie, his second wife, and a daughter in historic Forestvale Cemetery, Helena, MT. Mr. Hopkins was once Governor of Kentucky, and had a political career in Montana as well.

There are other Leslie family members here, but the zinc monument is for Governor Leslie, his wife, Mary Ann, and one of their daughters, Emily. The monument is roughly rectangular in shape, topped by a rounded cap, and there is some fairly interesting ornate detail throughout, such as flowers and palm leaves. The plinth has four support columns, and the family name, "Leslie", is on the front and rear plates, with the sides blank. On the main section, the rear panel is blank, and Mr. Leslie's is on the front, complemented by those for his wife and daughter on the remaining sides. They read:
