The two-bladed fixed pitch aircraft propellor is grey/silver in colour, and mounted with four bolts out of the six holes in the hub of the propeller. It stands about 1.8m tall on a 2m high grey vertical concrete slab in the northern end of the triangular Laurie Memorial Park that is bounded by three streets: Kew Road, Castle Street and Bold Street. The insignia of the Royal Australian Air Force are placed to either side of the upper blade. No plaque was mounted at my visit.
