This display is made up of ten stained glass windows, each of which tells a small part of the history of First United Methodist, a unique church that occupies a skyscraper building in downtown Chicago. Each window shows part of the church's history and has a caption with a date. The windows are displayed on the exterior of the building in the small courtyard where the famous Miró's Chicago sculpture is (on Washington Street, between the church building and 69 W. Washington).
