The 'regular' white-painted Nautical Flag Pole is at the entrance to Featherdale Wildlife Park, in the north-western suburb of Sydney - Doonside. The base is surrounded by a landscaped garden, surrounded on three sides by a footpath that leads to the kiosk where you pay to enter the park.
While the Wildlife Park opens from 9am (til 4pm), this is outside the pay-to-enter section of the park - unlike the Peace Pole.
