The polished black marble headstone stands vertically at the western end of a very light-blue tile-topped grave with sawn sandstone slab surrounds. Grahame Ratcliffe would have been a younger brother of Peter Ratcliffe, whose grave is the other side of their parent's twin graves. There is a colour photograph cameo set into the top of Grahame's headstone. The white inscription reads:
