The Spanish-American War Memorial located in Hopkins, Michigan at the intersection of East Main Street and Clark Street. The Memorial is small field stone pillar with a tablet fastened to the front. The plaque inscription reads:

This tablet is cast from metal recovered from the U.S.S. Maine
