Located on the east side of the 272 acre Vista View Park is a weather station along Boy Scout Road. Vista View Park is a Broward County Park located on a former county landfill site. Its highest point is 65 feet above sea-level. As a result a number of monitoring test sites are located in the park along with a weather station.
This weather station appears to be complete with temperature measuring, barometric, hygrometer, anemometer, directional wind vane, and rain gauges. It has an enclosed building for recording equipment and is enclosed in a chain link fenced area.
Unknown as to who maintains it but due to it being on Brownard County property it is speculated that they are responsible for it.
There is a paved pull out area off of Boy Scout Road for viewing. It appears it can be hiked to from within Vista View Park.
